Dr. Iafrate is the Vice Chair of Academic Affairs at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), Staff Pathologist at MGH and Full Professor at the Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Iafrate received his MD/PhD dual degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 2000 and was trained in anatomic and molecular genetic pathology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Iafrate is a board-certified Pathologist and has been on staff at MGH since 2005. Dr. Iafrate provides exceptional guidance to all his mentees and has shown his true passion in assisting others, in his field of pathology, by assisting them to stay on track and to obtain their goals.
