As of the 11 of March, the world health organization (WHO) declared Coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) as a pandemic disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 (previously known as 2019-nCOV) (1,2). By the 19 of April, 2,241,778 confirmed patients were reported worldwide with 152,552 COVID-19 related deaths (3). The COVID-19 pandemic represents the most serious health crisis facing the modern world resulting in unprecedented efforts to contain this pandemic and its consequences (1).
