COVID-19 pandemic created significant changes in education, leading to the need for education evaluation. PKBM development in Jambi City represented an active and critical effort to empower the community to improve skills and knowledge related to professions. The focus of PKBM was the management of an established and sustainable community education program. The method used in this research was the Context, Input, Process and Product (CIPP) evaluation model. The goals of PKBM had been following Indonesian education’s goals and the pillars of education set by the United Nations, namely learning to know, learning to do, learning to be, and learning to live together. The curriculum used by PKBM referred to educational standards in Indonesia. Each PKBM was allowed to develop their particular programs, such as entrepreneurial programs. PKBM students were trained to be productive in life. The skills taught include farming, gardening, and making batik. Learning methods were done well and innovative. However, the pandemic disrupted the implementation of learning activities because there were no direct activities and practices. The evaluation carried out at PKBM consisted of a written test and product assessment.
