Multiple Osseous Metastases From Choroidal Melanoma 16 Years After Enucleation on 18F-FDG PET/CT.

Publication date: Jun 27, 2025

Here we present FDG PET/CT findings of a 59-year-old woman who developed multiple bone lesions 16 years after enucleation surgery due to left choroidal melanoma. 18F-FDG PET/CT showed multiple FDG-avid bone metastases with no evidence of local recurrence or other metastatic disease elsewhere. The pathology and immunohistochemistry confirmed the diagnosis of multiple bone metastases from choroidal melanoma.
