An Isogenic Single-Cell Atlas of Familial Parkinson’s Disease Mutations

Publication date: Jul 07, 2026

So, in a way that we can develop uh uh different uh uh and then different targets, different uh targets also prioritize novel targets uh from these approaches. And also we use uh genome engineering, uh we use single cell RNA-seq, uh splicing RNA splicing analysis, as well as the uh functional genomic approaches such as Perturb-seq. And broadly, the third thing is we can ask like what are the broad uh shared signatures uh uh within these single cell class. And that will allow us to uh you know, the uh develop novel markers or lead us to uh uh develop new effective therapeutics. So, uh for the um for the single cell RNA-seq analysis, it’s important to understand the effect of these mutations in the uh different cellular populations. So, today uh uh we talk about single cell isogenic single cell atlas here. So, uh human stem cell models, we know that we can derive these disease-relevant cell types, like dopamine neurons.
